Speedwell Enterprises dedicates its time providing disabled people with job related skills and the confidence to leave the supported workshop environment.
We help disabled people with employment and encourage their independence. We have done this since 1979.
To achieve this aim we comply with the principles of Workstep. Workstep is a government scheme run by Jobcentre Plus to get disabled people into employment. This requires us to work with the employee in the creation of a personal development plan based on the employee’s career aspirations.
We need job opportunities from within the council or from external employers who have suitable vacancies for our employees. This can be work experience which leads to a job offer or accepting CV’s and application forms for existing vacancies.
Our clients work together, in our workshop, where we provide the job skills and training that employees need. Here we complete a variety of work, mainly packaging and assembly, for a various companies. We are always pleased to offer competitive quotations for doing such work here.
