Election of a Parish Councillor
An election is to be held for 1 Councillors for the Britwell Parish.
- Nomination papers must be delivered to the office of the Returning Officer, Mr. S. M. Quayle, Town Hall, Bath Road, Slough SL1 3UQ on any day from the date of this notice from Monday to Friday during office hours, but not later than Noon on Friday, the 4th day of July, 2008.
- Forms of Nomination Paper may be obtained at the said office of the Returning Officer who will at the request of any local government elector for the said electoral area prepare a Nomination Paper for signature.
- If the election is contested the poll will take place on Thursday, the 31st day of July, 2008, between the hours of 7am and 10pm.
- Applications to be included on the Register of Electors in order to vote at any election in the above wards must be received by the Electoral Registration Officer by Wednesday the 16th day of July, 2008.
- Electors and their proxies should take note that amendments to current applications to vote by post or proxy and new applications to vote by post and postal proxy must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at the Town Hall, Bath Road, Slough SL1 3UQ by 5pm on Wednesday, the 16th day of July, 2008.
- New applications to vote by proxy must be received by the Electoral Registration Officer not later than 5pm on Wednesday, the 23rd day of July, 2008.
- The deadline for new applications to be received by the Electoral Registration Officer to vote by proxy on grounds of a medical emergency is not later than 5pm on Thursday, the 31st day of July, 2008.
