Pakistan Welfare Association (PWA) is a registered charity serving the community since 1964. They help and support the community of Slough.

The PWA intends to meet the needs of the community by liaising with the statutory organisations and the community. They give diverse services which include links with:

• local government departments
• primary care trust
• police
• education
• Urdu language classes for children
• youth forum
• Pakistan High Commission

To run these activities PWA acquired a new centre for 40 years lease from Slough Borough Council.
