Green waste

Organic waste, including garden waste that ends up in landfill produces gases that contribute to climate change. You can help reduce this by:

• composting garden waste at home or,
• putting it in the green garden waste bin for collection and then to be recycled.

The garden waste scheme is free of charge. Residents must register to be a member. You will then be issued with a green bin for your garden waste. This bin is collected fortnightly.

To register for a garden waste recycling bin:

• call Enterprise on 0800 634 6301 or,
• email your name and address to slough.enquiries@enterprise.plc.uk.

You'll be told when the delivery of your green bin will be, which is normally within 6 weeks.
