The Lone Parent’s Project’s main aim is to get lone parents back into sustainable work.
Its next aim is to help lone parents back into learning and training environments to enhance their skills.
We assist with:
In Slough we have 2,200 Lone Parents to date. This has assisted 98 children to be taken out of child poverty.
The ongoing project started in April 2005.
251 lone parents use our services. The target was 45 lone parents into sustainable employment by March 2008, and 61 was achieved by July 2008.
Sustainable target was a minimum of 16 hours per week for minimum 13 weeks, and so coming off benefits.
