Short breaks (AHDC)

Short breaks within the AHDC gives:

• disabled children and young people enjoyable experiences away from their primary carers, to enhance their personal and social development and reduce social isolation
• parents and families a necessary and valuable break from caring responsibilities

Aiming High Activities

We now have the Aiming High government grant available to fund organisations to provide activities for disabled children and young people, more information can be found below. Grant funding applications for 2012/13 short breaks must be returned by noon on Monday, 20 February.
