Chalvey Waste and Recycling Centre in White Hart Road, off Spackmans Way, Chalvey SL1 2SF. It is 1 of the 3 household waste and recycling sites available in Slough. These sites can be used to dispose domestic waste that can't be included in your grey/black or red wheelie bins.
A wide range of materials can be recycled at these sites free of charge. These include:

If your item is of good quality (such as books, brick-a-brack, computers, clothing and furniture) you may want to donate it to a charity or business.
Chalvey Household Waste and Recycling Centre is open 7 days a week (excluding Christmas day). Opening times are between:
Householders in "high vehicles" or those carrying commercial waste will need to access the lower site and weighbridge. The maximum vehicle height is set at 1.75 metres (5ft 9inches) - users should check before using. This is high enough to let cars into the site but low enough to prevent large trade vehicles.
Residents with people carriers and domestic van users can still use the sight (except Sundays). Drivers should report to the weighbridge where vehicles are inspected to make sure only domestic waste is being tipped.

Please note that large quantities of DIY waste will be treated as trade waste; it is illegal to deposit trade waste on a public site.
Businesses have a legal duty of care to dispose of their waste properly and must pay commercial rates.
