Slough has a dedicated Bike it! officer who encourages children, teachers and parents to safely cycle to and from school.
Slough is securing funding to subsidise the cost of National Standards Bikeability training for children. Bike It supports that by running bike skills classes in schools to prepare children for cycling the school journey. They learn how to control their bicycle and how to position their bike and signal when cycling on the road.
