You can only vote in elections if your name is on the register of electors for your area. You can add or remove your details from the register at any time. Complete the form below and return it to the elections office.
Between August and November each year the annual canvass takes place when a form is sent to every property in the borough. Completing this form is compulsory and failure to register is a criminal offence.
The canvass form is pre-printed with the names of the electors currently on the register. When you receive the form, you should check and amend any details on the form, if necessary, sign it and return it in the pre-paid envelope to the electoral services office. If you do not return the canvass form with your details, then your name may not be included in the register.
Alternatively, if there are no changes to the elector details as pre-printed on the form, you can confirm the details by following the instructions with the form.
For more information or for help filling in your registration form contact the elections office on 01753 477235 or 477236 or email ballotbox@slough.gov.uk. Help for those whose first language is not English is also available at this number.
