Leasehold

Our Leasehold Unit provides services to leaseholders who have already bought their property, either from Slough Borough Council or on the open market (leasehold management).

The unit:

• maintains records about leaseholders
• arranges buildings insurance for leasehold properties
• identifies and bills the charges due under residential leases
• deals with queries, such as how we work out service charges
• deals with request for permission to carry out alterations
• manages the right to buy scheme

The leasehold unit is not responsible for managing housing or providing services to buildings and estates.
