Getting involved

Resident involvement – make a difference.

Housing Service believes in giving residents the opportunity to influence our services and act on your views. We have a resident involvement strategy to make sure residents’ views are gathered and listened to. We offer a list of involvement options to make sure residents can get involved in a way which suits them. The main options for involvement are to:

• structure focus groups to consult on policies, procedures and service delivery;
• establish resident panels to review services;
• support tenants and residents associations to form local groups;
• encourage residents to join our committees and boards;
• seek residents' views on service delivery through customer surveys;
• provide opportunities for you to be involved locally.

We will offer training and support for all residents to make sure your involvement delivers a real impact on the service you get.
