Who can register a still-birth?
In all cases the mother can register the still-birth. The father can register the still-birth if the mother and father are married.
Where and when can I register a still-birth?
All still-birth babies born in Slough will be registered in Slough, but the details of the baby can be given at any Registrars Office in England and Wales.
Please note however, that registering the birth outside of Slough may delay the registration process.
What information needs to be supplied for the registration of a still-birth?
To register a still-birth, the Registrar will ask for the personal details of both parents and the child name as well as a medical cause of death from doctor or midwife.
