What support is available to Childminders?
Slough Sure Start Service has a team of people dedicated to providing information, advice and guidance to all childcare providers in Slough. Please ring SSIS on 01628 660098 or email sure.start@slough.gov.uk who will put you in contact with the appropriate people for your area.
What is a network childminder?
A network childminder is someone who has passed a quality assurance assessment and has regular (every ten to 12 weeks) monitoring to ensure standards are maintained. It demonstrates the childminder is committed to higher quality childcare.
