No, unfortunately there is no online facility to pay your Council Tax at this present moment.
I share my house with a friend and have paid my share of Council Tax. I have received a summons for his outstanding share, is this correct?
Yes this is correct because a summons has been issued for non payment of council tax, it doesn't take into consideration if one half has paid their share and the other half hasn't.
The original Council Tax bill sent in the beginning of the financial year is sent to all occupiers of the property as a whole.
How do I find out what valuation band my property is in for Council Tax?

Can anyone have access to my personal Council Tax details?
No one can have access to your personal details apart from the account holders themselves.
If I overpay my council tax can I get a refund?

If I build an extension on my house will it affect the valuation band for my Council Tax?
Not at the time, only when the property is sold or when a re-valuation takes place.
I'm moving into the Borough soon, do I have to pay for the property I'm moving out of as well?
Depends on a number of circumstances. If you are still responsible for the property you are moving from you will still be responsible for the Council Tax.
I'm only renting a room and thought my landlord was responsible for paying Council Tax what do I do?

I'm the Council Tax payer and I'm leaving the country for a while, do I still pay?
If the property is yours and you intend to return then yes you must still pay the Council Tax.

What should I do about my council tax if I am moving out of my home in the Borough?

Is it easy to pay my Council Tax by direct debit?
This is the preferred method of payment for council tax - it keeps costs down for you and for the council, which keeps Council Tax increases to a minimum. It also means no cash to carry about, no queuing to pay and a choice of three payment dates each month. You don't need to remember to pay your bill each month as the payments are made automatically.
I've lost my Council Tax monthly instalment slips. Can I get a new set?

What is the position if two or more people are responsible for paying Council Tax and one or more moves out during the year?
You need to provide a date when the individual moved out and a proof of address they are currently residing at. Then the Council Tax account is adjusted, new account created and a new bill sent out.
