How do I obtain copies of death certificates?
These can be obtained from the Register Office where the death was registered.
In Slough we can take a credit card application over the phone and put the certificate into the post.
People may also write to us or visit the Register Office.
We aim to produce certificates within one working day.
BEWARE - registration district boundaries constantly change and it would be wise to phone an office to check they still hold the registration. It is also possible to obtain a certificate from the General Register Office at Southport on 01704 550013 but it is best to try the local office first.
