I am going to install a gaming machine - do I need a licence?
You will need a licence depending on the location. Contact the licensing department for more information.
Are there any exemptions to gaming machine licences?
Games of skill such as quiz machines, and amusement only machines such as "space invaders" do not require a permit under the Gaming act 1968.
When is a gaming licence required?
Under the Gaming Act 1968, a permit is needed for premises that provide amusements with prizes by way of machines.
