Does the council have approved lists of suppliers? How do I get on them?
Where approved lists are in force, and only a small minority of departments have them, they are determined and held by the individual departments, the procurement department does not hold centralised approved lists.
However, the procurement department can advise on those individuals (contract officers) within the council responsible for specific service areas. Suppliers will need to approach the relevant contract officer within the relevant department directly in order to be considered for the approved list. What is the Local Business Portal?
Our local business portal offers more opportunities to promote your business, goods and services.
We will advertise any contracts we are letting including specifications, type of supply and any time-frames. The portal then matches your goods or services with any relevant contracts and emails you with all the details and invites you to submit a quote or bid by a specific date.

How do I register on the Local Business Portal / Slough Borough Council's e-procurement system

I am unable to complete the PQQ due to technical problems. What should I do?
If you receive an error message, capture that image and forward to sloughlbp@slough.gov.uk as an attachment.
Email sloughlbp@slough.gov.uk with details of the problem if the problem is persistent please print error message and fax to 01753 875183 for the attention of the Administrator of the Local Business Portal.
