What is the Education Maintenance Allowance?
Pupils aged 16 attending further education at school on a full time basis may be eligible for an Education Maintenance Allowance (EMA), worth up to £30 a week.
What do I have to do to get an Education Maintenance Allowance?

Pupils aged 17 or over who received financial support through the Student Support Team in the 2004/2005 academic year may reapply for support in the 2005/2006 academic year. Contact the Student Support Team on 01753 875721 (lines open 1pm - 4.30pm Monday to Friday).
