Does the council clean private gullies/drains?
No, the Council does not clean private gullies. You will need to contact a private drain cleaner, details of which can be located in the Yellow Pages or on the internet.
Does the Council clear road drains?
Most of the drains in Slough are the responsibility of Thames Water. For drains that Slough is responsible for, telephone 01753 875635 or e-mail highways@slough.gov.uk. If it is a blocked or broken road drain we will unblock it or fix it. Most of Slough has a water table very close to the surface and this makes it difficult for heavy rain falls to drain away in a reasonable time. In these cases, we will do our utmost to stop it causing damage.
