If I have a problem with goods vehicles using my road what can I do ?
If it is a public road then any vehicle can use it, unless there are restrictions sign posted then the vehicle be enforced by the police. Additional investigations may be carried out and the Council do not have not ways of enforcing.
If I live in a lorry ban area already but goods vehicles are still using the road what can I do?
Capture the license plate number of the goods vehicles using the road in a lorry ban area and contact the police. The council is responsible for setting the policy and bans and it is the police who are responsible for enforcing it.
