Can I get my property modified because I have a disability?
This will depend on your circumstances. We will assess your needs and provide equipment that meets your requirements. Please contact the access team for further details.
Can I get a wheelchair through social services?
No, we don’t provide wheelchairs. Please contact your GP who can arrange this for you.
Am I eligible for lever taps, lowering a cistern or having a grab rail of some sort fitted in my home?

Over 65's can contact Age Concern on 01753 822890 - NOTE: you will need to pay for the cost of the equipment but NOT the labour.

There's a problem with my stair lift or shower that was installed by Housing, who can I contact?

How do I get a Walking Stick, Walking Frame or Wheel Chair?
You need to ask your GP Surgery for a referral to the wheelchair service or for physic assessment.
