What provision is available for teenagers who become pregnant to allow them to continue their education?
The councils policy is to help pregnant teenagers attend school for as long as possible and to provide online educational services via a virtual classroom for those teenagers who prefer to study outside of the school environment.
There is an alternative educational service which can provide further help and guidance, they can be contacted on 01628 696077.
Where can young people access free and confidential sexual health advice and contraception?
The Sexual Health Service provides free and confidential advice on sexual health and contraception. It can be accessed at the Garden Clinic on 01753 635 606.
Connexions, High street, have a health drop in between 3 to 5pm on first and third Monday of the month. They can be contacted on 0845 408 5006.
