Do you offer sports grants to individual sports performers?
The council does not support individuals financially. However, the Slough Sports Council does through the Albert Pusey Memorial Fund.
Details of this fund can be obtained from Robin Woolman on 01753 853607. The fund only gives grants to individuals who live in Slough and who belong to a Slough-based club or organisation. Grants are in 2 categories:
What funding is available for sports clubs and groups?
The council no longer has a sports grants budget but any club or group which is considering seeking National Governing Body Clubmark or equivalent accreditation may be eligible for financial support. Email activeslough@slough.gov.uk for more details.
