How do I report anti social behaviour in a park?
There are 3 park rangers patrolling our parks. Call us on 01753 875255 to report anti-social behaviour in our parks. A ranger will be sent to investigate.
Can I join up with other people to go for a walk in the park?
Yes. For a list of planned meetings call the parks development officer on 01753 875566.
Can I ride my bicycle in the parks?
Yes. Please be considerate of other park users.
Can I ride my motorbike in the parks?
No, the riding of all motorised vehicles is prohibited by law. This includes mini bikes and other motorised children's vehicles.
Can I play golf in the parks?
No, this is prohibited by the byelaws because it is dangerous to other park uses and causes damage. There are several golf courses near Slough.
Can I have a barbecue in the parks?
No, this is prohibited by the byelaws. You may like to contact London Borough of Hillingdon 01895 250655 regarding barbecues in Mad Bess Woods, Ruislip.
Where is my nearest skateboard park?
Skateboard parks are available free of charge in Granville Recreation Ground, Kennedy Park, Harvey Park and Cippenham Recreation Ground. Call the parks team on 01753 875566 or email parks@slough.gov.uk.
Where is my nearest tennis court?
Outdoor tennis courts in Slough are available free of charge in Lascelles Park, Cippenham Recreation Ground, Mercian Way Recreation Ground and Salt Hill Park. Call the parks team on 01753 875566 or email parks@slough.gov.uk. Also contact Slough Tennis Centre on 01753 875587 for indoor courts.
