How do I get to the West Wing?
We are 10 to 15 minutes walk from the train station in the centre. There are regular connections from:
By car or bus the West Wing is situated within easy reach of the A4, M4 junctions 5 & 6, M25 junction 4b and M40 junction 2, 1a.
There are regular buses from the Town Centre along Stoke Road.

The building has ramped access, allocated parking spaces and adapted toilet facilities.
The auditorium is fitted with an infra-red receiver, which enables customers with hearing impairments to fully enjoy all performances.
What is the future of the West Wing?
Slough Borough Council is committed to providing our residents with the best in community arts. We are exploring new ways in which the West Wing can operate for the benefit and entertainment of the community within our reduced resources.
The West Wing will remain open whilst we carry out a review of future operations. The arts team will continue to work closely with our partners in the delivery of an arts programme to the communities of Slough.
The West Wing is situated on the old Arbour Vale School site. There are a number of options being considered at present for the future development of the site and the future location of arts provision would be considered as part of this.

Arts Development run the annual Community Arts Training in Slough (CATS), which is a practical course that equips participants with the skills and knowledge to run arts projects in the community.
Arts Development have also produced the book Art & People, which is a step-by-step toolkit for running an arts project in the community and is available to buy priced £15.00.

The Arts Development team provide one-to-one support and advice to help Slough based individuals, voluntary and professional arts organisations write funding applications for arts projects in the town.
