Can I buy my council house?
The Right to Buy is a legal right that allows most council tenants to buy their home if they can afford to.

Does the council sell property to private buyers?
Yes the council will sell property to private buyers when it is declared surplus to requirements. Contact Head of Valuation Services on 01753 875805.
How do I buy land from the Council?
We only sell land that is in the ownership of the council and not private land. If you wish to find out more about a specific piece of land/property please contact the Valuations Service Department on 01753 875827.
