How does regeneration and demolition affect me?
Regeneration will provide better facilities and add extra security for properties as well as generally improve the area. It will improve the condition of the housing stock and working in partnership with other agencies the council can provide services to communities for the betterment of the area.
What is the decent homes investment programme?
This is a major refurbishment programme which is to improve Slough’s social housing stock to bring it up to the Government’s decency standard by 2012.
