If I don't want to pay what do I do?
On the back of the ticket the appeals process is explained. All enquiries regarding the Penalty Charge Notices will only be accepted in writing and should be made within 14 days from the date of the Notice to: APCOA Parking Services, PO BOX 56561, London, SW18 9EZ.
If the inquiry is received after 14 days, then you will lose the opportunity to pay the reduced charge. The appeal can be rejected by APCOA Parking Services, and at least 28 days after the rejection, then it follows a council appeals process.
How much do permits cost?

Not all properties are allowed to have more than one permit, depending on location and space available.
I have a tradesman coming (plumber/delivery), where can they park?
All tradesmen should respect the parking regulations and obtain a visitors permit where possible. If they contact the Parking Shop in Chalvey Park, to alert the civil enforcement officer with notice, then they may agree to not ticket the vehicle.
If you do get a ticket and believe you have reasonable grounds then you should appeal providing evidence that they are working for you, such as a copy of invoice, or letter of delivery with dates.

How do I pay for a Penalty Charge Notice (parking ticket)?

Cash in person at the Parking Shop, Unit 1, Shaftsbury Court, 18 Chalvey Park, Slough , SL1 2ER. Opening hours are: 09:00-16:30 Monday - Friday, and 09:00-13:00 on Saturdays.
Are there any parking schemes in my area?
The parking shop contains a list of parking schemes in each area.
How do I get a car park season ticket?
The council issues season tickets for the Brunel, Burlington, Hatfield and Herschel car parks. Enquiries can be made by telephone (01753 518989), by post or in person at the council's Parking Shop.
How do I know when the regulations are in force?
There are regular signs around each Parking Watch area that describe the local regulations and times on the sign plates.
I have a visitor, where can they park?
In any unrestricted road space, they follow the normal highway code, regarding single and double yellow lines. In resident's parking areas, the resident can purchase visitors scratchcards (available at the Parking shop in Chalvey Park). In pay and display bays pay at the meter, or if it is not working at the next available one.
What about Residents with special care needs?
There is a carer's parking permit available, similar to the resident's permit (cost £25 for 2005). Contact the Parking Shop for more information.
What are 'Shared Use Bays'?
There are several types of bay, and these are described on the signage near them. Typically these are pay and display which could revert to residents only at specific times of day.
What are the features of a typical Parking Watch Zone?
A Parking Watch Zone typically has a coordinated set of 'yellow lines', resident parking bays, and possibly pay and display bays.
What happens if I get a parking ticket?
You have 14 days in which to pay your parking ticket at a reduced rate (£30 for 2005), after which it will rise to a full amount (£60 for 2005).
What is a Parking Watch Zone?
A parking watch zone is a group of roads and houses where there is a coordinated approach to parking restrictions.
Where can I park if my passenger or I have a disability? (Also Blue Badges)
If there is a blue badge holder in the vehicle, they can park for 3 hours on a yellow line (single or double). They can park on disabled pays, and pay and display areas. They cannot park in resident's bays, unless with a visitor's permit. Why introduce Controlled Parking Zones?
The council is responsible for the highway and freeflow of traffic and therefore introduce restrictions to help freeflow traffic. Parking restrictions are sometimes put in force to facilitate local residents parking.
