How will I know when my Planning Application has been decided?
Planning Services will send a Decision Notice to the agent at the address on the application form. A list of decisions on recent planning applications is available our decided application page. It is updated fortnightly.
How can I help make sure my planning application is approved?
Contact Planning Services before submitting a planning application. Also for householder and small residential development look at published Development Control Guidelines prior to submitting a planning application. The Guidelines are available from Planning Services; further information is available on the planning application page.
Who makes the decision on whether planning applications should be approved?

What can I do if my planning application is refused?
Find out what to do from the 'determinations and appeals' page on the Planning Portal. Or you can contact Planning Services.
How will other people who may be interested get to know about a Planning Application?
Local residents and businesses close to the application site are notified in writing about a planning application. For major applications a notice is posted on the site and in the Slough Observer. A list of applications is available from Planning Services and on the received application page.
If people want to oppose or support a planning application, how can they make their views known?
