Will the council collect asbestos sheets from my property?
No. Bonded asbestos can be accepted at Chalvey Waste Transfer Station by appointment only and at a charge. Please telephone the site on 01753 216100 to arrange a time.
Conditions of use for disposing of cement bonded asbestos:
Big demolition jobs of asbestos cement structures will require an HSE licensed contractor for works and final disposal. You should contact the public health team on 01753 875255 for advice.
Does the council collect hazardous waste?
No. This can be collected by local contractors. Please see local press or yellow pages.
Householders with small quantities of pesticides or other dangerous materials may dispose of this waste at Chalvey free of charge.
