The annual sports awards are an opportunity to recognise individual and club successes and to acknowledge sporting achievements across all sports in the town.
Held every year they celebrate the best in local sporting talent with 13 separate awards for individuals and clubs.
There are also demonstrations from local sports clubs and organisations.
The awards night to celebrate achievements in 2007 will be held on March 31st 2008 and nominations are now open. A nomination form can be downloaded here and sent to the address on the form which can be photocopied for more than one nomination.
