The council undertakes a range of monitoring to ensure that its human resource processes and procedures are effective and do not unlawfully discriminate.
The tables provided are based on the results of this monitoring for the period 01/04/2004 to 31/03/2005. The council is currently undergoing a restructure, but to ensure consistency in reporting of the 12 month data the tables have been broken down using the old directorates of the council.
Full statistical monitoring information is regularly reviewed by the council’s strategic director of human resources, the council’s corporate management team and by councillors through the council’s employment committee.
