27 March 2011 was Census Day.
The census counts the population of England and Wales and takes place every 10 years to determine funding for towns.
The information given by residents gives a picture of how much funding the town needs for council services, health care, policing and the fire brigade.
Without this, adequate funding will not be given and services will be cut or scaled down to a minimum.
It's a legal requirement - failure to complete the form could result in a £1,000 fine.
For more details on the 2011 Census go to the Office of National Statistics website or email: census.customerservices@ons.gsi.gov.uk.
