The public health team is responsible for investigating a wide range of complaints about environmental health issues affecting the health and well-being of people living and working in the town. The team are also responsible for licensing (not taxi licensing) and certain environmental protection issues.

The environmental services team is responsible for providing high quality environmental services to the residents of Slough in partnership with Slough Accord.
The services include: refuse, recycling, street cleaning, grounds maintenance, waste disposal and highways, monitoring air quality and contaminated land.
