If you have a cooling tower or an evaporative condenser within the air conditioning system, this must be registered with the council under the Notification of Cooling Towers and Evaporative Condensers Regulations 1992.
This is to identify potential areas that could give rise to spread of infectious disease eg, legionellosis and to ensure preventative measures are taken to eliminate the risk of such infections arising to employees and the public.
Please notify us of your cooling tower by completing a cooling tower notification form. There is no charge for notification.
