The current target is 10 weeks however the schedule is currently under review and this will reduce the time to give a higher standard.

Advice on returning to a flooded home.
The council adopted the 'Dogs Fouling of Land Act 1996' which made it an offence if any person in charge of a dog failed to pick up after his dog fouled any land in the open air to which the public has access. This means parks, playing fields, alleyways, highway verges etc, but not people's gardens. The enforcement is carried out by our dog warden who patrols all streets, alleyways and parks. We rely on members of the public to give us information on "black spots". The dog warden can issue tickets for an on the spot fine of £50. Alternatively, if someone is prosecuted they can be fined up to £1000.
An education programme is ongoing and we are continuing to enforce the law.
Our dog warden can be contacted on 01753 875255.
