There are various projects throughout the town offering accommodation to single and young people. These are The Foyer, Hartland Close, Millennium House and the YMCA.
If you would like to be considered for any of these housing options you must be on the housing register. Vacancies occur on all the options throughout the year. Make sure your housing assessment officer knows you would like to be considered.
The projects tell the council when they have a vacancy, and we can nominate you when your turn on the register is reached.
Details of how to join the housing register can be found below.
If you remain on the register you can be considered for self-contained housing in the future when your turn is reached. You will remain on the housing register provided you renew your application every year when we write to you.
