Are you over 50 and interested in moving home?

Slough Borough Council in partnership with housing associations and People 1st (Slough) is working to house and support tenants over 50. Accommodation offered on Spruce Court

We can offer you:

safe and secure accommodation which is suitable for the over 50s
accommodation that meets the Decent Homes Standard

Applicants over 50

When joining the housing register can:

Choose general stock studio/1 bedroom properties in the areas of your choice

As well as:

Choose to live in accommodation ‘designated for the over 50s’ (All first floor flats)

Applicants over 60

Can choose to join the housing register and access the accommodation above as well as:

Choose a Supported Housing Complex designated for the over 60s
We are developing extra care homes for people with higher support needs

What will happen next?

Your application will be assessed and you will receive notification in the post of your position on the register and your band
You are required to renew your housing application annually and a letter will be sent out to you to do this
When a suitable property is available we will contact you and arrange for you to view the property
If you opt for a support service a supported housing officer will visit you to discuss your needs
