Under the Game Act 1831 Act it is an offence to take or kill any game without a licence. The Game Licences Act 1860 extended this to the buying and selling of game.

To apply for a licence you will need to download, complete and return the 'Game Dealers Licence Application' form. You will also need to enclose an application fee of £70 with your application.
The licence is renewable annually and the fee is £70.
