Tattoo, piercing and electrolysis licences

If you wish to carry on the business of tattooing, semi-skin colouring, cosmetic piercing, electrolysis etc you need to apply for registration for the premises where the business will be taking place.

To register you will need to download, complete and return the 'Application for Registration to carry on the business of Tattooing Semi-Permanent Skin-Colouring Cosmetic Piercing Electrolysis' form. You will also need to enclose a registration fee of £150 with your application.

An inspection of the premises will be conducted at the council’s discretion.
