If you are or have been detained in a prison, hospital or any other place by virtue of the order of a court in the United Kingdom, you may be entitled to a discount on your council tax.
Please note it is the council's policy to only backdate the discount to the start of the current financial year.
If you believe that you are entitled to this reduction please download the 'Council Tax: Application for a Discount for Persons in Detention' form and complete and return it to Council Tax Section PO Box 1733, Slough, SL1 1FS. Alternatively you can hand it in to the Customer Service Centre.
