Person with a disability reduction

If your home has been adapted to meet the needs of a disabled person you may be entitled to a reduction in your council tax.

The grounds for such application are as follows:

1. The room is predominantly used by and required by the disabled person
2. A second bathroom or kitchen is required for meeting the needs of a disabled person.
3. It is necessary for the disabled person to use a wheelchair indoors

If you meet any of the above criteria please download the 'Council Tax: Application for a Reduction for a Person with a Disability' form and complete and return it to Council Tax Section PO Box 1733, Slough, SL1 1FS. Alternatively you can hand it in to the Customer Service Centre.
