Second home discount

If you own a property within the borough which is furnished but not considered to be your sole or main residence you may be entitled to a reduction in your council tax. In order for you to be entitled to this discount you must be paying full council tax elsewhere.

If you believe that you are entitled to this reduction please write to us and enclose your council tax bill for the property where full council tax is being paid. The letter should be sent to; Council Tax Section PO Box 1733, Slough, SL1 1FS. Alternatively you can hand it in to the Customer Service Centre.
