A priority list for all transport schemes, which includes road safety schemes to help improve safety for all road users was set up in November 2007.
Specific areas on the Farnham Road have been identified on the current list that needs improvements based on the types of collisions that have occurred. These included collisions between vehicles and also pedestrians crossing inappropriately.
To address these problems some works were proposed. We had the proposals on our consultation portal and residents were able to give feedback.
