A priority list for all transport schemes, which includes road safety schemes to help improve safety for all road users was set up in November 2007.
Specific areas on the Farnham Road have been identified on the current list requiring improvements based on the types of collisions occurring. Northborough Road was found to have problems with pedestrian crossing facilities.
To address these problems some works were proposed to plan for road safety improvements to Northborough Road. We had the proposals on our consultation portal and residents were able to give feedback until 3 April 2009.
