2016.07.28 Recall: Morrisons Busy Bee Cake

The following notice has been issued by the Food Standards Agency:

WM Morrison Supermarkets plc is recalling its Busy Bee Cake with a 'best before' date of 04 August 2016 as a precautionary measure because the product might contain Salmonella.

The possible presence of Salmonella in the product listed below. Symptoms caused by Salmonella usually include fever, diarrhoea and abdominal cramps.

No other WM Morrison Supermarkets plc products are known to be affected

Action taken by the company
WM Morrison Supermarkets plc is recalling the product. Product recall notices have been displayed in the stores explaining to customers the reason for recall and the actions they can take if they have bought the affected product. A copy of the product recall notice is attached to this alert.

Advice to consumers
If you have bought the above product, do not eat it. Instead take it back to the retailer where you will be given a full refund.
