The following notice has been issued by the Food Standards Agency:

Quorn Foods is recalling its Meat Free Moroccan Soup and its Meat Free Red Thai Soup because they contain egg, which is not mentioned on the labels. This means the products are a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to egg.

Our advice to consumers
If you have bought the above products and have an allergy or intolerance to egg, do not eat them. Instead return them to the store from where they were bought for a full refund.

Action taken by the company
Quorn Foods is recalling the above products from all UK Sainsbury's stores and has contacted the relevant allergy support organisations, which will tell their members about the recall. The company has also issued a point-of-sale notice to Sainsbury's.
