2017.03.07 Recall: Tesco - Spaghetti Bolognese (frozen)

The following notice has been issued by the Food Standards Agency:

Tesco is recalling all date codes of Spaghetti Bolognese (frozen) because it contains egg which is not on the label. This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to egg.

Product: Tesco Spaghetti Bolognese (frozen)
Pack size: 400g
Best-before: all date codes


No other Tesco products are known to be affected.

Our advice to consumers
If you have bought the above product and have an allergy or intolerance to egg, do not eat it. Instead return it to the store from where it was bought for a full refund.

Action taken by the company
Tesco is recalling the above product from customers and will be contacting the relevant allergy support organisations, which tell their members about the recall. The company has also displayed a point-of-sale notice in its stores.
