2017.03.16 Recall: SunVit-D3 5000IU Tablets

The following notice has been issued by the Food Standards Agency:

SunVit-D3 Limited is recalling SunVit-D3 5000IU Tablets because they contain lactose which is not mentioned on the outer label. This means the product could be a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents.

Best-before end: February 2019

No other SunVit-D3 products are known to be affected.

This product contains lactose making it a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents.

Our advice to consumers
If you have bought the above product and have an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents, do not take it. Instead return it to the store from where it was bought.

Action taken by the company
SunVit-D3 Limited is recalling the above product from customers and has contacted the relevant allergy support organisations, which will tell their members about the recall. The company has also issued a recall notice to its customers. This notice explains to customers why the product is being recalled and tells them what to do if they have bought the product.
