2017.03.23 Recall: Craig Foods - Slemish Assorted Pastry / Slemish Cupcakes

The following notice has been issued by the Food Standards Agency:

Craig Foods is recalling their Slemish Assorted Pastries and Cupcakes because they contain milk which is not mentioned on the label. This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents.

Product: Slemish Assorted Pastry
Pack size: 6 pack
Best before: all dates up to and including 24 April 2017

Product: Slemish Cupcakes
Pack size: 4 pack
Best before: all dates up to and including 20 April 2017

No other Craig Foods products are known to be affected.

Risk
This product contains milk making it a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents.

Our advice to consumers
If you have bought the above product and have an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents, do not eat it. Instead return it to the store from where it was bought for a full refund.

Action taken by the company
Craig Foods is recalling the above products from customers and has been advised to contact the relevant allergy support organisations, which will tell their members about the recall. The company has also issued a point-of-sale notice to its customers.
